If the patient will handle the process themselves:
After your application, you will receive an information form via email that includes details about the doctor who will perform your surgery and the hospital where the procedure will take place. Once your doctor and hospital are approved, your medical information will be reviewed. If there are no issues, pre-approval will be granted.
You will need to complete your pre-operative tests one day before the surgery and send the results by email. This allows us to send a confirmation email to your doctor as well. Your information must also be approved by your doctor. At this point, your insurance coverage will begin prior to surgery.
If the surgery will be performed by a doctor:
The doctors we work with will select the appropriate package for you and share all your medical information with us. After the pre-approval, the pre-operative test results will be sent by your doctor. Along with the consent forms for the planned procedures, you will receive an email containing your approval and file number. This email will also include a personal password—please do not share it with third parties. This marks the beginning of your private insurance coverage.
